THE YALE CLUB OF THE TREASURE COAST is the regional association of Yale alumni, students, parents and friends for the middle of Florida’s East Coast – from Stuart to Melbourne with its home in Vero Beach, Florida. It was originally organized in 1983 by Harry Walker and Ash Andon who were the 1st and 3rd Presidents. Our purpose is to keep in touch with the excitement of our world-class university, to promote a positive image of Yale through community focused good works and to foster a sense of camaraderie among our membership through substantive speaker discussions, and social activities such as Yale-Harvard football game parties, golf matches and events with other Ivy schools. Currently, we have over 80 due paying members from Stuart to Melbourne, though primarily in Vero Beach, going back to the class of 1937.
